Winter teddy coat outfit

Here is some outfit with camel sweater. For me, camel is color that can be combined
with everything especially when it's made from soft fabric such as cachemire.
This kind of sweater is go-to for me; by adding some bright color your look will be
more stylish and determined.

Capture of motivation

Today I want you to introduce with a new column that I always find so informational and motivational to read. Once in a while we will be getting acquainted with talented people. I hope it will be as interesting for you to read as for me.

Today you are going to read about beautiful  Sharon from Canada. She shared with me a brief history of life, goals and what brought her to the point where she is now. Sharon creates beautiful simplicity of minimialist art. She said that pictures that she creates and want to hang on her wall are uncomplicated, absent of pretentiousness, yet bold and expressive. You can find her art works on instagram or etsy .

Creating art provides me solace, focus and a goal of challenging myself.

Challenging myself to experiment with new and diverse media, acrylics, watercolors, inks, pastels, chalk, graphites; challenge myself with different papers, canvas, wood, big pieces, small pieces; to measure and compare my accomplishments, not with other artists, but with myself.

I have been drawing and painting as far back as I can remember.
After highschool, I studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design, in Calgary, Alberta.

Like so many, I had to abandon my aspirations, to work to make money, support myself, at jobs that did not relate to being artistic or expressive.

Then came marriage and having a baby, which comsumed most of every moment, but in a good way.

Spending as much time as I could with my son was immensely important to me, no regrets.

But throughout that time, I continued to sketch, paint, draw, design, encouraging my son to participate with me. The desire to create was always there.

I sold serveral paintings to a Greeting Card Company, which was very exciting. That event inspired and motivated me to devote more time to imagination and creativity.

My family were victims of crime a number of years ago. It was a destructive and traumatizing experience. I was shattered and numb. The road to recovery has been overwhelming. To think about or focus on anything other than trying to heal, can sometimes be almost impossible. It continues to impact me. It is an arduous road with many obstacles, twists and turns.

My son suggested that one of the best 'distractions' from the trauma would be to draw, paint, create. He recognized I had to change course, reflect on what gave me joy, what gave me consolation and what would support my self-worth. He saw it, and I didn't.

I took his wise advise, and that's what brought me to where I am now, selling my art on-line.

I am forever grateful to him.

I had the distinct pleasure and privilege of working with Fashion Designer, Michal Nir of KERENVEMICHAL, on a design collaboration.

Several of my pieces were printed on her clothing designs in 2014!

This year, I was over the top thrilled to have been included in the 'Influencer Program', with the Etsy Public Relations and Marketing Team for Canada, who introduced me to Elif Filyos of thefashionmedley.com. Elif purchased several pieces, posted them on her website and instagram! She has an incredible number of followers, which has directed a great deal of traffic and interest to my work.

I love working with clients who are interested in custom pieces and projects. Some of my favorite work has come about from engaging directly with customers, collaborating on different ideas.

I love the beautiful simplicity of minimialist art; which is a focus of my work.
Life is complicated.
What I create and what I want to hang on my wall, I want to be uncomplicated, absent of pretentiousness, yet bold and expressive.

When a client or customer says to me, "it's beautiful", or "I love your work", I just can't put into words how gratifying it is, how much hope it gives me. It's like finding a pair of wings, lifting me up, helping me to move forward.
I am on my way to better things.

Sweaters everybody needs to have this season

At fall/winter season it's all about sweaters. When outside is so cold you need some bright color and warm in cozy neats, soft sweaters or simple turtleneck. It's more practical to wear monochrom color, but colorblock can make your look to be more unique and shic.
So here are some inspiration for you!))
